MIP 2010 Agenda

The Eighth Annual Minorities in Pittsburgh Conference is scheduled for January 29-30, 2010, at the University Club on the University of Pittsburgh Oakland Campus.  We invite you to join us at MIP 2010 for a world-class conference that showcases Pittsburgh’s most talented students and encourages both the corporations and the students to Embrace Diversity in People, Professions, Industries, Talents, and Ideas!

MIP will foster the development of students personally and professionally, allow corporations to form lasting relationships with premier talent in Pittsburgh, and promote service by reaching out and giving back to the community. Attendees will leave with a more positive outlook on their future possibilities and their place within the professional world.

This year the keynote address will be given by Justin Jones-Fosu, who has hosted some of the most inspiring and interactive workshops at previous MIP conferences, and was named by Ebony magazine as one of the “Young Leaders under 30 on the Rise”.

The contacts and relationships formed at MIP are meant to be long lasting and mutually beneficial. The valuable experience at MIP is about serving our members, our partners, the University of Pittsburgh community, the Pittsburgh area student population, the corporate world, and eventually the entire world through the contributions and transformation of all who attend.
